Well, if I were Fernando Torres, this would have shot up to the top of the list of favorite birthday presents, ever. Sergio tweeted this photo today, saying “I want to congratulate a good friend who is not here, missing him lots… Happy birthday!”
If this doesn’t motivate Fer to regain his form so that he will be called up by VDB again, then nothing will.

Very touching, indeed! I’ve missed a bit Sergio’s original ideas but let’s hope we’ll see more after this. Perhaps it is the spring that makes guys do these things, yesterday Feli posted a kiss with… a dolphin. :)

If there is one thing I have always admired about Sergio is that he is a true friend! He wore Puertas shirt at the end of the two Euro cups and the world cup as well. We could all use friends in the good times and the bad.
