Vicente del Bosque has announced the list of call-ups for the upcoming Euro 2016 qualifier against Belarus (Nov. 15, 20:45h at the Nuevo Colombino in Huelva) and the friendly against Germany (Nov. 18, 20:45h at the Balaídos in Vigo).

Goalkeepers: Iker Casillas, David de Gea, Kiko Casilla.

Defenders: Juanfran Torres, Gerard Piqué, Raúl Albiol, Sergio Ramos, César Azpilicueta, Jordi Alba, Marc Bartra.

Midfielders: Sergio Busquets, Koke Resurrección, Santi Cazorla, Cesc Fàbregas,* Juan Bernat, Raúl García, Ignacio Camacho, José Callejón, Isco Alcarcón, Bruno Soriano*.

Spain takes on Finland tonight (20:30h) in its sixth (out of eight) qualifier for the 2014 World Cup.  At present, Spain leads Group I with 11 points, followed closely by France with 10 points (France will play Georgia tonight).

A Marca headline in today’s edition said, “¿Estados Unidos o Estamos unidos?” (The United States, or we are united?).  Judging from the past few days, I’d have to say both!  And this picture below is proof – Iker posted this shot of him, David Villa, Fernando Llorente, Andoni Iraola and Pepe Reina on his FB, saying, “a game of pocha is never bad.”  As Fernando Llorente said, “somos una piña.”  I see Joan is continuing his strike, and why is Pepe wearing normal clothes?
