You all know who my favorite on this team is, and you can probably also guess which ones I’m partial to, but how about you? Which players are your favorites, and which ones are you looking forward to seeing?
* If you weren’t able to guess, I also adore Ander, PF Juan Mata, Rodrigo, Azpi and Iñigo Martínez.
And some observations: Javi’s photo looks like a mug shot, Álvaro looks like he’s wearing eye makeup, why did the camera zoom for Jordi, Iker looks like he’s about 12 years old, Juanín has mastered the skill of smiling with his eyes, Ander looks like he just got out of bed, and why didn’t anyone tell Diego to look at the camera? Many of the boys also have fantastic smiles, no?

My favorite is PF Mata!
So many great guys, no? Well I like Azpi for his fabulous smile and Iñigo Martinez for his fabulous personality. Isco is just lovely to look at on and off the field. But those kits are atrocious!!
I adore Isco so much. Looking forward to see them play in the Olympics. Btw is it just me or does the shirt look ugly?

his great Eurocopa performance made me a fan of Jordi so I’m definitely looking forward to seeing him. have to admit I don’t know a lot of the others that well though – so I’m just in general curious to see them play.

Btw, Una, would you mind naming who’s who in the photo? I’m not familiar with everyone here. I wasn’t even sure if Jordi was the 3rd or 6th from the left on the first row! I only knew because of your zoom comment. :)

Top row: David de Gea (goalkeeper), César Azpilicueta (defender), Álvaro Domínguez (defender), Javi Martínez (midfielder), Iñigo Martínez (defender), Jordi Alba (defender).
Middle row: Adrían López (forward), Iker Muniain (forward), Rodrigo (forward), Juan Mata (midfielder), Koke Resurrección (midfielder), Martín Montoya (defender).
Bottom row: Alberto Botía (defender), Oriol Romeu (midfielder), Isco Alarcón (midfielder), Cristian Tello (forward), Ander Herrera (midfielder), Diego Mariño (goalkeeper).
I met and hung out with a bunch of these boys the other year so I have definite soft spots for them.
My top 2: Ander and Javi. Two of the nicest boys I’ve ever met. Ander was definitely in the top 5 of the most polite boys I’ve ever met.
Other favorites: Iker (super funny boy. Impossible not to love him), De Gea is super nice and funny in a quieter way, and Mata even though he was the quietest one and I didn’t get to know him like at all the whole time. Cesar is pretty nice, quiet boy too.
