PF Juan Mata, “who has a contagious smile” and “is known as Johnny Kill in Chelsea’s locker room” (JAJAJAJA!!!!!) was the first player to take the questionnaire.  And he didn’t seem too happy about it: look at his answer to the first question.  He also seems to have made wild guesses for the others (though of course not the one about his own father)… nevertheless, he is completely adorable.

31.  Where do you go to have a beer?  On Gascona Street in Oviedo.

32.  What did Pedro Picapiedra (Fred Flintstone) do for work?  He broke stones (that’s the literal translation of “picapiedra”).

33. Why do footballers spit so much during games?  We spit?  I hadn’t realized.

34.  Who killed the solider PileckiA sniper.

35.  What is your favorite fruit pastilles flavor? Watermelon.

36.  What is the name of Son Goku’s son?  Son Wanda.

37.  What is the purpose of Twitter?  To stir up trouble.

38. What happened with your controversy with Iñaki Gabilondo (this is a question posed by a humorist many years ago; Gabilondo is a journalist and anchor)?  It was bad, it ended badly.

13.  How many games did Toni Grande play with the national team?  None.  But I did play against Toni, when we were in the juveniles.  It was a Madrid-Oviedo.  We won 2-1 and I scored the two goals.

14.  How often does Del Bosque touch up his mustache?  Every once in a while, it’s very neat.

15.  What kind of music do you listen to on the way to the stadium?  When it comes to music, I’m old fashioned.  (“Julio Iglesias,” says his son, who was present during the interview).

16.  What team did Lato play for?  He was a fantastic forward, he played with Poland.

17.  Where is Auschwitz?  In Poland, of course. 

18.  What do Poland and Cataluña have in common?  They’re both very careful with their money. 

19.  Who is Lech Walesa?  The one who formed the first Polish union.

20.  How much do you spend on gas a month?  I don’t know, a lot.

21.  On what day do the Sanfermines start?  July 7.  I’ve never gone.

22.  Where do you like to go on vacation?  Anywhere in the world.

23.  What team does the writer Martínez de Pisón support? I don’t know.

24.  When was the last time you took a private plane?  Not too long ago, to go to London. 

25.  Who was BelausteA footballer related to the origins of football.

26.  How did Negredo get that scar on his headI’m sure it was because his head hit someone.  It was probably a centerback or his brother, at home.

32. What happened with your controversy with Iñaki Gabilondo?  The only thing I know about Iñaki is that he’s a great professional and he’s paid very well.  Nothing more than that.
