Fernando Llorente at Telva
Here’s a little preview from Spanish magazine Telva’s February edition, where they travel with Fernando Llorente to Rincón de Soto and share a lunch. He’s really quite perfect, although as you all know, my current favorite león is another one…
The secret of my success is… I believe a lot in discipline. For all the good qualities I have as a player, I can only become the best if I take things seriously. In football, the small details are what makes the difference.
In Rincón de Soto, I’m known as… El Conrao. My paternal grandfather is named that and my father and I “inherited” that name, although now, since I’m on TV, I’ve become Llorente.
In the locker room of the Spanish national team, my greatest supporters are… Reina and Villa. Together, we’ve had some great moments. Reina is a showman and Villa is a great guy, and also very fun, he loves telling jokes. [So that’s why they all went on vacation together!]
My last splurge: a Porsche Panamera.
How do you surprise your girlfriend? I give her gifts that I know she’ll like: her favorite dessert, a flower… Two years ago, I organized a surprise visit to New York.
For more perfection – if you can stand it – head here to see Xabi Alonso. But prepare yourself – you’re going to end up very, very jealous.

Un león RICO (rrrrrrrico like hell;) y famoso!! ;))) And I think Llorente sounds way better than El Conrao or whatever… when I first saw him, he was entering the game against Portugal, I thought “what a sexy name this guy has”… and of course, a few minutes later I saw that the name was not the only sexy thing about him… ;)) thank you so much… looking forward to the entire interview ;))
I have one question….
WHAT IS UP WITH THE MEN ON THE NATIONAL TEAM!!!!! They ALL know how to treat their WAGS ….
Fernando Torres didn’t play the game back in December to be with Olalla …
Fernando Llorente plans a secret trip to NY .. gives flower and deseret…
Cesc and Carla well I just want them to get married and start having kids c’mon 8 years and still strong
Puyi and Malena … they sometimes send twits to each other and she a cute pic of her and him has her main pic on twitter for awhile..
David Villa – if he is out and about … you usually see him with his wife…& the look like they love each other…not to mention his daughters
Alvaro & Raul (zipi y zape) …. they both have to have a good realtionsip with their wives if the their always hanging out…and the joke they (the wives) played on them… *lol*
Iker – that kiss in the world cup says it all
Jesus Navas – thanked his girlfriend when he won award awhile back…
Pepe – what can I say … they are on baby #3 … I think they are doing ok… That and when they were on vacation they looked happy
Andres – he supports her on what she does… cause on his facebook he put up a video of her fashion show..
Xabi Alonso – they looked sooooo perfect for each other… and in love
They give their WAGS a place and show it…. & I love that… NOT alot of men (athletes) gives them the place they deserve… like Kobe he cheated and what he do gave a huge ring and i think even a new nice expenisve car…And then theirs alot of violence towards women by people who say they love them… I just love how the respect and love their women….
The Spanish NT doesn’t only know how to play football they know how to treat their women… SOOO with that said … I ask for them to come to America and give some classes … *lol* j/k
THANX UNA!!!!
(and yes i’m a little jealous)
*sigh* You’re right! I love that they’re real men with real lives and families/wives/girlfriends to show for it. Part of me wants to preserve them and hide them in my pocket, but I’m just too happy for them all to be jealous!
..This is nudging me further into a lifelong quest to hunt for the perfect Spaniard for me to snag…
Readership. Save yourselves. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK TO READ ABOUT XABI ALONSO. It will only send you into a slow, inexorable, soul-consuming spiral of depression. Ask me how I know.
Ain’t nothing slow about it.
It’s like jumping off a cliff.
But so beautiful.
Oh, I can imagine that depression… but everyone WILL click on that link. What saves me is the fact that I’m not in love with Xabi Alonso… no, I respect him, admire him (and his wife, they’re a fantastic couple), enjoy looking at his pictures and all, and maybe I could have a crush on him if there weren’t someone else on La Roja, someone with a big nose, and lovely honey-coloured eyes, and 1.82 m of height, and
an insolently sexy mouthone of the best smiles on this planet…But when I read about Llorente I sometimes do get a bit depressed and even tearful, like I was yesterday… because he could be like my younger brother who was never born, my mother lost her second child when I was 7 (sorry, it’s extremely personal but somehow I have to say it, just to speak it out, I will not return to this). And I think Fer has some Polish or Czech or Ukrainian roots, he’s much like me…
LOL he likes el Guaje’s jokes??? He stole them all from Joaquin! :) Gotta love Floris.
Joaquin Sanchez…LOL u know thats true!
Xavi and Nagore make such a great couple.
honestly, not jealous about Nagore and Xabi at all! but that’s probably because he’s such a father figure to me, especially on the field with real madrid. Sergio and Lara on the other hand =(
Llorente!! I’ve been waiting for some news about him to surface!
I honestly don’t have a thing for him (yes his eyes are mesmerizing, his voice is soothing and he obviously has a great personality, but visually that’s not usually what I go for). That being said, whenever a thought of him pops up, I automatically start play this cheesy song in my head *cringe* :
