relatively unscathed…

… considering how many players suited up for Spain during the last week and a half.

The (few) victims from the international break:

– Sergio Ramos, who suffered an injury to his right knee during the Scotland-Spain game.  Madrid’s doctors confirmed the injury, and said he’ll receive medical treatment and physiotherapy, but didn’t say how long he’ll be out or if he’ll be out at all.  This weekend’s game is against Málaga on Saturday.  Sergio didn’t train with his team yesterday.

– Álvaro Domínguez had to be subbed out of the Croatia-Spain game after spraining his left knee, and tests yesterday showed that he’ll be out for two to three weeks.  Álvaro returned to Spain on crutches.

And in good news, David Villa will be available for this Saturday’s Barcelona-Valencia game, which will also be his first against his former team.  He ended Spain’s game with pains in his left knee, but was able to go to work out yesterday.
