Iker and Cesc are two of the footballers who shared their playlists with iTunes (the others are Theirry Henry, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Phillip Lahm, Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney).  The best part is, they give an explanation for why they chose each song (which allows us to secretly laugh at them)!

Here is Iker’s:

1.  Alejandro Sanz – “Desde Cuando”: Because deep down I’m a romantic person [I love this song and Alex too!]

2.  Seguridad Social – “Chiquilla”: It reminds me of when I was young.  Younger.

3.  Black Eyed Peas – “I Gotta Feeling”: One of the best songs I’ve heard lately.

4.  Camilo Sesto – “Vivir Así Es Morir de Amor”: My parents always listened to this when we were in the car.  [I have memories of this song too!  Iker and I are obviously meant to be together.]

5.  Luis Fonsi – “No Me Doy Por Vencido”: The lyrics are to be framed.

6.  Jay-Z – “Empire State of Mind” (with Alicia Keys):  Each time I hang out with my friends, we end up listening to this.

7.  Manolo Escobar – “El Porompompero”: Because this is typically Spanish.

8.  Queen – “We Are The Champions”: Because it means that you’ve won a trophy.

9.  El Canto del Loco – “La Madre de José”: Because it’s the most uncouth song in the world.

10.  Amaral – “Sin Ti No Soy Nada”: One of my favorites.

11.  Julio Iglesias – “La Carretera”: He’s a grand artist.

11.  Tinchy Stryder & N-Dubz – “Number 1”: The perfect soundtrack for when I got out with my friends.

12.  DJ Team – “Stereo Love”: The best that you can hear now.

13.  Luis Fonsi – “No Me Doy Por Vencido”: It reminds me of my girlfriend.

14.  The Police – “Every Breath You Take”: The first song I learned in English.

15.  David Bisbal – “Mi Princesa”: I like his songs a lot.
